»THE CARNIVAL OF ANIMALS«

The king of the animals, a lion, has taken a little nap after lunch and suspects no harm. But when he wakes up, he is struck by sheer horror. His precious crown has disappeared! Just one day before the grand animal carnival, the most important day of the year when the great ruler wants to be seen by his animal subjects. One thing is certain: the crown must be returned! Juri Tetzlaff has been one of the best-known and most popular faces on children’s television channel KiKA since 1997. He has also been a passionate presenter of concerts for children since 2001. Now he has revitalised a true classic of the genre with a version of his own lyrics. Tetzlaff transforms Camille Saint-Saëns’ »Carnival of Animals« into an exciting detective story, which he himself narrates in his usual exciting style. Enjoy an entertaining hands-on concert with a tricky murder mystery and breathtakingly beautiful music!Costumes are highly welcomed!

At this concert, the RSB presents the Enigma Variations, the most frequently performed work by the English composer Edward Elgar. In this ingenious composition, Elgar describes people from his surroundings. During the concert, the musical character portraits can be diligently guessed. Is Elgar describing himself or a person he loves or rather someone whose piano playing he admires? Juri Tetzlaff leads through the concert in an entertaining and varied way.

Klassik.Krimi / Symphoniker Hamburg

Mysteriöse Todesfälle sind in der Klassik keine Seltenheit! Mord und Totschlag gehören zur Tagesordnung. Da rollen die Köpfe, Menschen werden erschossen, erhängt und vergiftet. Bei diesem Krimikonzert läuft die Sache völlig aus dem Ruder, und die Grenzen zwischen Spiel und Realität verschwimmen. Eigentlich soll es ein Konzert mit kriminalistischen Anekdoten aus der Klassikwelt geben, doch dann hält ein Mord im Backstage die Musiker:innen und Juri Tetzlaff auf der Bühne in Atem. Alle stehen unter Verdacht, niemand darf den Saal verlassen, bis der Kriminalfall gelöst ist. Ein Konzert mit köstlichen Klassikhäppchen, garniert mit kriminalistischen Knobelaufgaben. Ein Programm für Krimiliebhaber:innen, Klassikeinsteiger:innen und alle, die mal etwas Neues ausprobieren wollen. Angsthäsinnen und Angsthasen können zu Hause bleiben! Ein spannendendes und interaktives Krimikonzert für Jugendliche ab 16 und Erwachsene. Jüngere Zuhörer:innen mit starken Nerven sind natürlich aber auch willkommen.
